Proficiency Levels

DigComp 3.0 AT defines 8 proficiency levels within the 4 overarching proficiency stages defined by DigComp 3.0 EU, directly aligned with the Austrian National Qualifications Framework (NQF 1-8).

Basic

Levels 1-2

Recall and implement simple tasks with guidance.

Applies to:

Support personal, learning-related and/or professional goals and participate in society.

Intermediate

Levels 3-4

Independently identify and solve clearly defined tasks.

Applies to:

Participate independently in society and pursue personal and professional goals.

Advanced

Levels 5-6

Independently evaluate and adapt complex tasks in various contexts, and guide others.

Applies to:

Participate effectively in society, support others, and manage goals.

Highly Advanced

Levels 7-8

Solve highly complex problems, create new approaches, and lead others.

Applies to:

Solve highly complex problems, develop innovations, and mentor others in leading roles.
