It encompasses the creative, innovative and human-centred use of digital technologies for knowledge creation and for innovating processes and products. Competence Area 5 further includes recognising and closing one's own digital competence gaps as well as supporting others in their competence development. Finally, it encompasses recognising opportunities for improvements and innovations and the targeted use of digital technologies to create concrete benefit and value for people, organisations and society.
