Modelling, designing and integrating content and objects digitally

Creation, Production and Publication5 AI-explicit5 AI-implicit

Modelling content and objects digitally as abstraction and structuring of the essential, designing them in a human- centred and inclusive manner, and integrating them into existing knowledge, data or artefact repositories. Purposefully combining, structuring and modifying these, and developing new connections, meanings or functional artefacts through modelling and further processing — for interactive applications, where possible in a human- centred and inclusive way, potentially incorporating participatory design approaches (human-centered design, participatory design, Design Thinking).

Area 3: Creation, Production and Publication

Competence Area 3 relates to the digital creation, further development, modelling and integration of content and objects, taking into account human-centred and inclusive design approaches such as Human-Centered Design, Participatory Design and Design Thinking. It encompasses understanding, applying and complying with copyright and licensing for one's own and others' digital content. Competence Area 3 further includes the application of algorithmic thinking for analysing and structuring problems as well as for developing, adapting and using programs, scripts and automated processes. Finally, it encompasses the legally compliant production and publication of digital content and objects in different public spheres.
