Competence Area 3 relates to the digital creation, further development, modelling and integration of content and objects, taking into account human-centred and inclusive design approaches such as Human-Centered Design, Participatory Design and Design Thinking. It encompasses understanding, applying and complying with copyright and licensing for one's own and others' digital content. Competence Area 3 further includes the application of algorithmic thinking for analysing and structuring problems as well as for developing, adapting and using programs, scripts and automated processes. Finally, it encompasses the legally compliant production and publication of digital content and objects in different public spheres.
